Chicken Pecan Fettuccine image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 - 8 oz box(es) fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoon(s) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon(s) seasoned salt
1 pound(s) chicken tenders, cut into bite size pieces
1 tablespoon(s) butter
1 teaspoon(s) roasted garlic
8 oz package(s) mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup(s) white wine
1 cup(s) heavy whipping cream
4 - scallions, sliced (both greens & whites)
1/2 cup(s) pecans, in pieces
4 ounce(s) parmesan cheese, fresh

Steps:

  • Combine flour & salt in zip lock bag; shake to mix. Add chicken & place into bag; seal bag & shake to coat.
  • Preheat large skillet on medium high heat. Add butter to melt. Add garlic & chicken; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to brown chicken evenly.
  • Stir mushrooms into chicken; cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook pasta according to directions on package.
  • Add wine, cream & scallions to chicken; cook 5 - 7 minutes, stirring occasionally or until sauce thickens.
  • Drain pasta & stir into chicken. Sprinkle with pecans & cheese; serve.
