CHICKEN MARRAKESH image

Number Of Ingredients 15

1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
2 large carrots, peeled and diced
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon curry
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes

Steps:

  • Cook onions until tranparent. Add spices. Remove, brown chicken. Add onion and spices back in. Add remaining ingredients, except beans, cook until almost done. Add beans and cook until beans warmed through.
