CHICKEN CORDON BLEU CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

6 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
6 slice(s) deli fresh smoked ham
6 slice(s) extra thin swiss cheese
2 cup(s) tightly packed baby spinach leaves
1 - red pepper, cut into strips
1 can(s) (10-3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup(s) sour cream
1 tablespoon(s) grey poupon dijon mustard
1 cup(s) croutons, coarsely crushed

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breasts in a 13x9" sprayed baking dish; top with ham, cheese, spinach and peppers.
  • In a medium bowl, mix soup, sour cream and mustard until blended. Spoon over ingredients in baking dish; spread to evenly cover all ingredients. Top with crushed croutons.
  • Bake in a preheated 400ยบ oven for 25 minutes or until chicken is done and remaining ingredients are heated through. Serve over hot cooked rice.
