Chex Mix, Hot Honey image

Sweet with a little heat. A different twist on your favorite Chex mix. Christmas, parties, anytime! Add whatever your favorite ingredients are. Sometimes I'll add pumpkin seeds and sesame sticks, sometimes not. I also prefer Texas Pete Xtra hot, you may want sriracha, or regular hot sauce, maybe you like a different brand. Have...

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 c rice or corn chex cereal or a mix of both
1 c bagel chips (i like rye chips)
1/2 c loop pretzels
1/2 c square pretzels
1 c pretzel twist
3 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp hot sauce, i like texas pete extra hot
2 Tbsp unsalted butter melted
1 c honey nut peanut m&m's

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 250, mix all dry ingredients together except M&M's in a bowl, in a seperate cup melt butter, add honey and hot sauce, mix together and pour over dry ingredients. Spread out evenly on a baking sheet.
  • 2. Bake at 250 for 45min turning and reap reading every 15 min. Cool and add M&M's, store till ready to use in air tight container
