Cheesy Egg Breakfast Casserole image

We were introduced to this recipe by my husband's mom. She got this from a quilt group recipe book. She added veggies to this to use them up and the veggies are a great addition. She has used broccoli, asparagus or any other left over vegetable. It is great to fix the night before when you have a large crowd for the holidays and throw in the oven the next morning for fantastic warm very tasty breakfast.

Number Of Ingredients 11

6 - eggs
2 cup(s) milk
1 pound(s) sausage
1/8 teaspoon(s) sage
1/8 teaspoon(s) basil
1/2 teaspoon(s) yellow mustard
1/2 cup(s) mushrooms
1 cup(s) mozzarella cheese
1 cup(s) cheddar cheese
5 slice(s) bread dried and cubed
1 cup(s) your choice of veggies

Steps:

  • Brown and drain sausage. Put in ungreased baking dish. Mix other ingredients in bowl. Pour the other ingredients over sausage. Refrigerate over night. Bake uncovered at 375° for 45 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
