CASAVA CAKE (PHILIPPINE DESERT) image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 Cup White Sugar
1 Stick Butter (8 tbspn)
3 Eggs
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1/2 Can Condensed Milk
1 Can Coconut Milk
2 Bags Grated Casava Root
1 tblsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Jar Macapuno
1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar or Colby or Jack Cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375F. Stir eggs in mixing large mixing bowl. Add sugar and Evaporated Milk, Condensed Milk and Coconut Milk to mix. Then add Grated Casava, last stirring in melted butter and add 1 tblsp of vanilla extract. Mix until evenly blended at low speed. Pour mixture in lightly greased 9 x13 casserolle pan and sprinkle top with grated cheese. Bake for 1 hour or until sides are golden color and toothpick comes out clean in middle. Feeds about
