Steps:
- In a saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Stirring well, bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in condensed milk. Continue to simmer, stirring constantly until thermometer reads 234-238 degrees (soft ball). When dropped into cold water, a soft ball will form. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Add caramel to popcorn, lightly butter hands and form balls.
