2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup port wine
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon orange zest
8 ounces round camembert cheese

Steps:

  • in a measuring cup dissolve gelatin in water.
  • let stand 5 minutes.
  • in a saucepan combine cranberries, sugar, wine, gelatin mixture and cinnamon stick.
  • bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer 3-4 minutes.
  • remove from heat and stir in orange peel and cool ten minutes.
  • heat oven to 350 place cheese on ungreased cooking sheets.
  • bake for 15- 2 minutes and spoon cranberry mix over cheese.
