Cajun-Style Pork Chops image

A great Louisiana-style pork chop dinner. Serve with your favorite side and enjoy.

1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 can(s) 14.5 oz. can cajun-style stewed tomatoes

Steps:

  • 1. Combine spices together. Sprinkle pork chops on both sides.
  • 2. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add chops and cook 5 minutes on first side, turn and cook 4 additional minutes. Drain and return to skillet.
  • 3. To the skillet add tomatoes; cover and cook over medium heat for approx. 10 minutes or until chops are cooked through. Remove chops to a serving platter and keep warm. Cook sauce until thickened and spoon over pork chops.
