CABERNET SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup Cabernet
1 cup Chicken Stock
2teaspoons balsamic vinegar (I use aged)
1/2 teaspoon of roasted garlic paste
1tbs butter
3 sprigs of thyme
1 teaspoon of truffle oil
Tablespoon + of cornstarch

Steps:

  • Combine Cabernet, chicken stock, balsamic vinegar and garlic in a sauce pan and reduce to about 3/4 cup. finish the sauce by adding butter thyme and truffle oil simmer a minute or two. Mix cornstarch with enough chicken stock to make a runny paste add to sauce to thicken. simmer to thicken
