Butterscotch Apple Macadamia Nut Pie image

The great flavor of caramel apples with butterscotch morsels, apples and macadamia nuts turn this pie into a caramel delight.

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3-1/2 c light corn syrup
2 c apples, coarsely shredded
1/4 c butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 pkg butterscotch chips (11 oz.)
1 c macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
1 pie shell, 9 inch, unbaked

Steps:

  • 1. Combine eggs, corn syrup, apples, butter, vanilla, salt and cinnamon in large bowl: mix well.
  • 2. Stir in nuts and chips.
  • 3. Pour into pie shell. Put pie on cookie sheet.
  • 4. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
  • 5. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.
  • 6. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate.
