Butternut Squash Ravioli with Butter and Sage Sauce image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 package Butternut Squash Ravioli
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
8 Sage Leaves
1/2 Lemon, juiced
1/4 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated

Steps:

  • Boil pasta according to package directions. (Be sure to boil very slowly.)
  • Melt butter over low heat in a 12 to 14-inch saute pan until light brown color.
  • Add sage leaves and continue cooking until golden brown. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
  • Add cooked pasta with a little pasta water and toss. Add cheese and toss. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Remove sage leaves before serving.
