Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 9

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¾ teaspoon kosher salt
1 ½ cups dried rigatoni, cooked according to package instructions and drained, still warm
1 tablespoon buffalo sauce
1 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
ranch dressing, for serving

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, stir together the cayenne, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In a medium bowl, toss the warm rigatoni with the buffalo sauce, butter, and half of the spice mixture until evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390˚F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Add the pasta to the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes, tossing every 2-3 minutes and watching carefully to avoid burning, until the pasta is beginning to brown and crisp.
  • In the same medium bowl, toss the pasta chips with the remaining spice mixture until well coated. Let the pasta cool slightly before serving, about 5 minutes. The pasta will continue to crisp as it cools.
  • Serve the pasta chips with ranch dressing for dipping.
