Brownie Babies image

This is an exclusive recipe from my bakery. Enjoy! *Note: Go around the edges of each cup with a dry toothpick to loosen before/during the cooling process. If making traditional brownies, you may need to bake for less/additional time, pending on your pan size.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 2/3 c sugar
1/2 c butter
2 Tbsp water
2/3 c unsweetened cocoa
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
1 1/3 c unbleached white flour
1/4 Tbsp baking soda
1/4 Tbsp fine sea salt
1/2 c walnut pieces (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • 2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
  • 3. Combine sugar, butter and water in a microwavable bowl and microwave for 4-5 minutes, or until mix is bubbling.
  • 4. Pour into mixing bowl; add chocolate. Stir until combined. (If using a stand mixer, use the lowest setting.)
  • 5. Add eggs one at a time. (Keeping the mixer on low.)
  • 6. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • 7. Add flour mixture; stir well. (Bring mixer to medium speed.
  • 8. Stir in walnut pieces, if desired.
  • 9. Using a medium sized ice cream scoop or a good sized cereal spoon, scoop brownie batter into prepared pan.
  • 10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out slightly sticky.
  • 11. Cool in pan on wire rack for about 15 minutes.
