BRIE EN PHYLLO WITH RASPBERRY CHIPOTLE COMPOTE image

Yield Serves about 8-12 people

Number Of Ingredients 5

6-8 sheets phyllo
1 Cup butter melted or Olive Oil spray
1 wedge or wheel or brie cheese
1 1/2 Cups Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
Wheat Crackers or thinly sliced Granny Smith Apples dipped in lemon juice to prvent browning

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 350. In a small baking dish, layer the phyllo sheets, taking care to brush with melted butter or spray with olive oil between the sheets. Sheets do not have to be neatly stacked 2. Place the brie in the middle of the sheets and cover with sauce. 3. Draw the sheets together over top of the brie and twist slightly to fasten. Spray again with olive oil spray or brush with melted butter. 4. Cook for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melty and bubbly and the phyllo is golden brown and crisp. 5. Use a spatula to transfer to a serving platter. Serve with wheat crackers and apple slices.
