I my mother told me I should attempt to make a brie, and I did! WOW I was so amazed at the flavors and easiness of the whole thing, I will always be making one for the Christmas Season's to come! I suggest of you love cheese as much as my Husband does, you should defiantly give this a try! Enjoy!!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 - french brie ( 13.4 oz)
2 box(es) puff pastry sheet, thawed
1 jar(s) blackberry jam 8-11 oz ( i used blackberry pecan )
1 - handful of fresh pecans
1 large egg beaten

Steps:

  • pre-heat oven to 350*
  • place all puff pastries in a large square shape on a flat surface,
  • unwrap the brie and place in the center of the four corners of the pastries
  • add jelly/jam
  • add pecans
  • start folding pastry over the top of the brie and toppings, you will have to trim off excess puff pastry dough.
  • spray pam or rub butter onto a cookie sheet, and place tightly wrapped brie into the center of the pan, beat one egg in a cup or bowl, brush onto puff pastry and bake for 30-35 mins
  • Remove from oven once pastry is golden brown, and slice and serve immediately ! GREAT with fresh pineapple and strawberries and black grapes. We cracked open a bottle of Sparkling Apple Cider with it, and it was sooooooooo good! I pray this amazing dish finds its way to you table soon!!!! Enjoy!!!!
