Beer Batter for Chicken, Fish, Veggies... image

Modified from a recipe found online. Family loves it. Use more beer to make a thinner, tempura type batter.

Number Of Ingredients 3

2 c. flour (plus more for pre dipping food)
2 c. favorite beer
2 eggs beaten with ½ cup water or beer

Steps:

  • Whisk together flour, beer and beaten eggs. Season the batter to taste. (salt, pepper, onion or garlic salt)
  • Dredge food in flour, then dip in batter.
  • Deep fry in oil at about 365* to 375* until golden brown.
