Basic Freezer Meatballs image

This is a simple but handy recipe for freezer meatballs. Meatballs, in and of themselves, are very simple but they can be used in so many different ways. Now and then I like to make a large batch of meatballs so I can use them to make several different meals or appetizers.

Time 35m

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lb ground beef
2 eggs
1 c bread crumbs
1/4 c finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with eggs and bread crumbs.
  • 2. Add in the onion and spices. Use your hands to mix well.
  • 3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • 4. Place meatballs in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a 9 x 13 pan.
  • 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain grease and cool on paper towels.
  • 6. Store meatballs in a freezer bag or container in the freezer.
  • 7. Note: Sometimes I like to use ground sausage for half of the ground beef.
