Barney Google cake image

From an old friend from about 15 years ago.... So delicious and also one you can customize to your liking.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 - egg
1 tablespoon(s) water
- any flavor of jam
3/4 cup(s) white sugar
1 tablespoon(s) butter
1 cup(s) coconut
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 - egg slightly beaten

Steps:

  • In bowl # 1 mix butter , flour, baking powder, egg and water.Press into a 8 x 8 inch square pan. Spread with jam. In bowl #2 mix the remaining ingredients and spread over top. Bake at 350 til done...approx 20 mins.
