Banana Split Cake with Cream Cheese image

My entire family Loves this cake. Every time we celebrate any occasion, there has to be a banana split cake. No one can just have one slice, you have to go for seconds all the time.

2 c graham crackers, crushed
1/4 c butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 c confectioners' sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
12 oz cool whip
1 can(s) crushed pineapple
4 bananas
1 c chopped pecans
1 jar(s) maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • 1. Crush graham crackers. Mix the melted butter with the graham crackers. Spread and pack down on the bottom of a 9X13 inch pan.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, whip the cream cheese,sugar and vanilla together. Spread these 3 ingredients (cream cheese, sugar and vanilla)mixture over the top of the graham cracker cookied crumbs.
  • 3. Sprinkle the drained crushed pineapple over the mixture (cream cheese, sugar and vanilla). Spread the sliced bananas over the pineapple layer. Cover the bananas with the 12 ounces of cool whip. Sprinkle with nuts. Arrange cherries 2 inches apart on top of nuts. Chill for 3 hours. Keep refrigerated until served.
