BALSAMIC GLAZED GREEN BEANS image

1 lb fresh green beans
1/3 cup dried cranberries
2 t butter
1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
1 T brown sugar
2 T Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
1/4 cup slivered almonds

Steps:

  • Cook beans and cranberries in simmering water 4 to 5 minutes or until beans are crisp tender. Drain and rinse in cold water to stop the cooking. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onions and sugar; cook and stir 5 minutes. Add bean mixture; cook and stir 3 minutes or until heated through. Stir in dressing, cook and stir for one minute. Top with nuts.
