Baked Peach French Toast image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup brown sugar
10-12 slices French bread
1/2 cup butter
5 eggs
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 cups milk
16 ounces fresh peaches, sliced
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
cinnamon

Steps:

  • Melt butter add brown sugar and water and blend until smooth. Pour into sprayed 9x13 dish. Drain peaches and spread over syrup. Place bread slices in a layer over peaches. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon and pour over bread. Can be refrigerated overnight at this point. If cooking next day, remove 20 minutes before baking.Bake at 350º for 45-55 minutes. Serves 6
