BACON AND WATER CHESTNUTS IN APRICOT SAUCE image

2 6-oz. cans whole water chestnuts
1 lb bacon , cut in half
1 c catsup
4 1/2 oz jar strained apricot baby food
4 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Wrap chestnuts in bacon halves and secure with toothpicks. Mix remaining ingredients. Dip bacon rolls into sauce. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes. Broil 4 inches from heat for a few minutes, until bacon is cooked. Makes 4 dozen.
