AUNT LIZ'S BLUEBERRY PIE image

Best blueberry pie you will ever eat.

Number Of Ingredients 8

- pastry for double crust pie
1/2 cup(s) sugar (more if blueberries are tart)
1/3 cup(s) flour
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
4 cup(s) blueberries
1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
2 tablespoon(s) butter - salted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in blueberries. Put into a pastry lined pie plate. Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter. Cover with pastry and put on a baking sheet. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Keep an eye on the crust to make sure it does not get too brown. If it does cover the edges loosly with tin foil.
