AUNT CATHY'S PEA SOUP image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 bag split peas
4 oz baby carrots or sliced
3 tbsp chicken soup mix
1/2 diced onion
2 stalks sliced celery
1/2 pot water
ham cubes
ham bone

Steps:

  • Boil ham bone for 1 hour, remove bone. Add soup mix. When dissolved add everything else and cook on low until peas are completely desolved. For thicker soup leave to cook down, for thinner soup add more water. Salt, pepper, garlic, to taste.
