ASHEL'S BANANA BREAD image

3/4 cup Butter
1.5 cup sugar
2 large eggs
4 ripe bananas
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 cups , sifted A/P flour
1 teaspoon baking sode
1teaspoon salt
.5 cup buttermilk, well shaken
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. grease2 9X5 inch loaf pans With electric mixer. cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well. Beat in bananas and vanilla. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt and add to banana mixture alternately with the butter milk, beginnig and ending with flour. Flod in nuts. Pour batter into loaf pan qnd bake for 55 minutes. Cool slightly in the pan before turning the loaves out onto a cooling rack to completely cool.
