APRICOT-PECAN CRUMB BARS image

Shortbread dough
1 c apricot preserves
1/4 t cinnamon
1/2 c pecan halves

Steps:

  • Prepare shortbread dough and set aside 1 cup of dough. Press remaining dough into the bottom of a greased 9X9 pan. Spread apricot preserves over dough. In a bowl, combine reserved dough with cinnamon and pecans and crumble mixture over preserves. Bake until golden brown and bubbling, about 50 minutes. Let cool completely, then cut into squares.
