Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup unsweeetened applesauce
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp+ cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves (optional)
Chocolate chips
Butterscotch chips

Steps:

Melt butter & applesauce together. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine wet & dry ingredients. Gently mix in chocolate &/or butterscotch chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in lightly greased 8x8 pan.
