Apple-Rhubarb Dump Cake image

Very simple and very delicious. I just love rhubarb and so I just love this recipe, too.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 c rhubarb, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
2 c apple pie filling
1 pkg strawberry gelatin, small size
1 c sugar
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c water
1 white cake mix, 2 layer size

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix rhubarb and pie filling and pour into bottom of a greased 13 by 9 inch baking pan. Mix sugar and jello; sprinkle over rhubarb. Sprinkle cake mix over that and sprinkle water over all. Slice butter and distribute evenly on top of cake mix.
  • 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
