I stumbled on these while trying to make the perfect shortbread and thumbprint cookie. I used apple jelly only because I had run out of raspberry and strawberry preserves. The apple were the best ones!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Cream together the butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, the brown sugar, egg and extracts.
- 3. Add in flour.
- 4. Drop by full tablespoons onto baking stone or greased cookie sheet.
- 5. Press into the middle of each cookie to form a tiny cup for the jelly.
- 6. Add jelly to the center of each cookie.
- 7. Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies just begin to turn golden.
- 8. Once cooled completely, dust with remaining powdered sugar.
