Andy's Easy Cheese Dip image

This is a great dip that always leaves others to ask me for the recipe. It's so simple to put together, yet always a big hit. Clean up is easy when it is all eaten.

1 pkg velveeta
1 1/4 lb hamburger or sausage
1 jar(s) picante sauce, pace medium (medium jar)
1 bag(s) tortilla chips

Steps:

  • 1. Brown Hamburger in a skillet.
  • 2. Crock Pot Method: Cube velveeta and place in crock pot with Picante Salsa and turn Crock Pot on High. Stove Top: Cube velveeta and place in Pot with Picante Salsa and begin to cook over medium heat.
  • 3. Crock Pot: Add browned hamburger and place crock pot on high, stirring frequently. Turn to Low when cheese is nearly melted and smooth. Stove Top: Add browned hamburger and cook over medium heat until cheese is smooth. Transfer to servnig bowl.
  • 4. Serve with Chips
