ALMA FRITCHIE'S CRAB AND CHIPS image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 stick of good butter
1/4 c green onions, chopped fine
3 TBS flour
2 c cream
1/2 c dry white wine
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1/2 lb swiss cheese, grated
1 lb fresh lump crab meat
2 c potato chips, crushed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Saute' green onions in the butter until wilted. Add flour and cream to make a white sauce. Add wine, seasonings and grated swiss cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Then, fold in crab meat. Top with potato chips and bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbling and chips begin to brown.
