Agave Brownies II image

This uses cocoa powder instead of baking chocolate.

2 large eggs
2/3 cup(s) agave nectar
1/2 tablespoon(s) vanilla extract
1/2 cup(s) (1 stick) butter, melted
1/2 cup(s) whole wheat flour
1/4 cup(s) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ยบ F. Coat an 8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add agave and vanilla; mix well. Add melted butter.
  • In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Slowly add to batter, beating until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  • Cool completely. Cut into bars.
