3 cups unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup orange juice
2 packages (3 ounces each) raspberry gelatin
1-1/2 cups lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring applesauce and orange juice to a boil. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin until dissolved. Slowly add soda. , Pour into a 6-cup mold coated with cooking spray. Refrigerate until firm. Unmold onto a serving platter.

This Raspberry Jello Salad could not be easier to make, and it looks so beautifully bright and festive on a holiday table.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 packages of raspberry gelatin, 3 oz (two small boxes)
2 cups boiling water
2 cups applesauce
24 ounces frozen raspberries
2 cups sour cream
2 cups mini marshmallows

Steps:

  • Pour raspberry gelatin into the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Pour boiling water over the gelatin, and stir to dissolve.
  • Add applesauce and stir.
  • Carefully add frozen raspberries, and press them down in an even layer.
  • Cover and refrigerate, 2 hours or until set.
  • An hour or two before serving, stir sour cream and mini marshmallows together and spread over the set raspberries. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

This is a refreshing gelatin salad that is very light and perfect for any time of the year... especially summer gatherings. The addition of applesauce really makes an impact. Love it!

3 cup(s) hot water
3 package(s) (regular size) raspberry jello
2 cup(s) applesauce
2 package(s) frozen raspberries in syrup - thawed
3 cup(s) marshmallows, mini
1 cup(s) sour cream
1 cup(s) whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Mix hot water and pkgs of jello (1 at a time) In 9x13 pan
  • Add apple sauce and raspberries and mix well. Place in fridge overnite. Before bed, mix together sour cream and marshmallows and cover with plastic wrap and leave ON COUNTER overnite.
  • Next morning, mix marshmallows and sour cream with mixer til creamy. Mix in 1 cup whip cream and spread on top of jello. cut into squares and serve each on iceberg lettuce leaf.

1 (6 oz.) Raspberry Jello
2 1/2 Cup Boiling Water
1 Cup Applesauce
1 Box Frozen Red Raspberries with juice/syrup

Steps:

  • Take the raspberries out of the freezer. Boil the water, take off burner and stir in the jello until dissolved. Pour into your serving dish/bowl, then add the applesauce and the frozen raspberries. Stir, then place in the refrigerator until set.

Zest and juice of 2 large oranges
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
3 pounds Granny Smith apples (6 to 8 apples)
3 pounds sweet red apples, such as Macoun (6 to 8 apples)
1/2 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
12 ounces fresh raspberries (2 packages)
Vanilla ice cream, such as Haagen-Dazs, for serving
Orange zest, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place the zest and juice of the oranges and lemon in a large (11-inch) ovenproof pot or Dutch oven, such as Le Creuset. Peel, quarter, and core the apples and add them to the pot, tossing them with the juices as you go.
  • Add the brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and raspberries, cover, and bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until the apples are very soft. Stir vigorously with a wire whisk. The applesauce will be smooth but still have a lot of texture. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream and a dusting of orange zest.
