This is a great Smoothie! Also contains complete vitamins and protien for a meal. I developed it for my mother who suffers from MS. She can't swallow much, and this smoothis goes down easy! :)

1/2 cup crushed ice
1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
1/3 cup frozen mixed berries, e.g. black blue, and raspberries
1/3 cup pomegranate-acai juice
1/2 cup pomegranate vitamin water
1 scoop whey protein or 1 scoop powdered soy protein concentrate

Steps:

  • Put ice, berries, and frozen yogurt in blender. Pulse the blender a couple of times to break down the berries and frozen yogurt a little. This will make it easier to blend completely later.
  • Pour in all other ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth. making sure all ice is broken down.
  • Pour into a glass, add a straw( very important!:) ) and serve!

6 ounces 100% pomegranate juice
1 (6 ounce) container nonfat vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup frozen mixed berries

  • Simple combine all ingredients into blender, and blend on medium speed until smooth.
  • If you want a thicker smoothie just add ice when blending.

1 c pomegranate soda
3/4 c frozen strawberries
1/2 c frozen blackberries
4 Tbsp liquid honey
6 - 8 ice cubes
4 slice limes (garnish)

Steps:

  • 1. Place the pop, frozen strawberries, blackberries, honey and ice cubes in blender.
  • 2. Cover and combine until smooth and thick.
  • 3. If you prefer a thicker consistency, you may add additional ice cubes, one at a time, until desired thickness is achieved.
  • 4. Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses and garnish with the lime slices.
  • 5. You will want to squeeze the lime into your glass and stir with your straws.
