This is a smoothie that I often throw together for breakfast. It also makes a great "milk shake" for the kids when they want some sort of treat. My kids still have not caught on that they are having something healthy!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup dole pineapple chunks in juice
1/4 cup pineapple juice (from the can of Dole pineapple)
1 banana
1 cup frozen strawberries

Steps:

  • Spoon out one cup of pineapple chunks from a can of pineapple and place in a blender.
  • Pour a quarter cup of the natural pineapple juice from the can and add it to the pineapple in the blender.
  • Add banana and frozen strawberries to the blender and process until smooth.
  • Serve immediately.

This beverage is refreshingly delicious and the flavor will take your taste buds on a tropical vacation!

2 cup(s) pineapple, chopped
4 large guavas, washed, ends removed and quartered
1 1/2 cup(s) mangoes, cut into pieces
1 1/2 cup(s) milk (substitute almond milk)
1 cup(s) pineapple juice
1 to 2 tablespoon(s) agave nectar (substitute honey)

Steps:

  • 1. In the jar of a blender, add pineapple, guavas and mangoes. Pour in milk and pineapple juice before adding agave nectar.
  • 2. Place the lid and process on medium high speed until smooth - don't forget to taste and adjust if necessary. Serve immediately

1 cup pineapple juice, unsweetened
1 cup crushed pineapple (fresh or use one 8 oz. can)
2 tablespoons apricot jam
1 (12 ounce) package silken lite firm tofu (Mori-Nu makes this)
1 ripe banana

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender. Whip until smooth.
  • Chill or blend in a few ice cubes. Serve cold.
