TOMATO BAGUETTE PIZZA

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute mushrooms and onions until tender. Add garlic and seasonings; cook and stir 1 minute. , Place baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up; sprinkle with half the cheese and 1/2 cup basil. Top with mushroom mixture, tomatoes and remaining cheese. , Bake until cheese is melted, 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining basil. Cut each half into 3 portions.

- Preheat the over to 350°F (180°C)
- Cut the baguette in half and place bread cut-side up on a prepared baking sheet.
- Take your tomato sauce and spread a layer of sauce over each piece of the baguette.
- Once complete, you can sprinkle mozzarella cheese over each piece.
- Then add fresh basil, fresh crumbled mozzarella, and sliced baby tomatoes.
- BAKE for 10 minutes
- Slice and serve!

FRENCH BAGUETTE CHICKEN IN WHITE SAUCE PIZZA
This is a recipe my daughter made with a friend and brought home and cooked for me. It's quick and easy to make but SO tasty!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 425*F (220*C). Heat up skillet over medium heat. Cut chicken up into cubes or thin slices. Place into skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook chicken thoroughly.
- 2. While chicken is cooking, cut baguette loaf in half and then cut lengthwise each half to make 4 pieces. Spread butter over crust and inner side bread. Place crust side up into oven and cook for 10 minutes, turn over and cook face down for 10 minutes or until lightly golden toasted.
- 3. Take bread out of oven, turn face upward and sprinkle as thickly or sparingly as you like over the 4 bread sections the green and red bell pepper slices, onion, and chicken.
- 4. Top with alfredo sauce, again as thickly or sparingly as you prefer. Place back in oven for 10 to 15 minutes until vegetables and sauce have time to heat up thoroughly.
- 5. Remove from oven, plate and serve!

This simple and espress recipe comes from the issue of May 2006 of Coup de Pouce. It looks delicious. And I have not tried this. With the review of Redsie, it's a good idea to add pizza sauce.

Steps:
- In a skillet, heat oil at medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, mushroom, salt, italian herbs and pepper. Cook, stirring, for about 6 minutes or until mushrooms are golden.
- Put slices of baguette on a baking sheet and sprinkle them with half the cheese. Spread on the slices of bread 1/2 cup of basil leaves, the mixture of mushrooms and tomatoes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Cook in a preheated oven of 400 F for 10 minutes or until cheese has melted. Cut remaining basil leaves in fine strips and sprinkle on hot pizzas.

- First fry up the mince, seasoning with salt and pepper to your liking. As said, all kinds of mince will work and it can be left out as well.
- When ready, remove the mince from the cooker and mix with the tomatoes. Season well with basil, oregano, salt and pepper to taste.
- Now cut the ciabatta loaf open lengthways and in half (or fourth, depending on how long your loaf is). Drizzle with some olive oil.
- Spread the tomato-mince mixture on the oiled ciabatta. Top with sliced mozzarella.
- Pop your pizza baguettes in the oven. In the microwave: give them 5 minutes at 800W, then grill for about 2 minutes. Keep a close eye on the cheese and intervene when it turns brown!
- In a traditional oven: bake as you would a pizza and again check regularly. Enjoy!
