Combining refreshing pineapple flavor with the zing of cranberry juice is how I created an easy-to-fix sipper to take to holiday parties.

Yield about 3-1/2 quarts.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 bottle (64 ounces) cranberry juice, chilled, divided
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice, chilled
1 liter ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • Combine 2 cups cranberry juice and crushed pineapple. Pour into a 6-cup ring mold; freeze. Just before serving, combine pineapple juice and remaining cranberry juice in a punch bowl; stir in ginger ale. Add the ice ring.

Two 1-quart bottles chilled cranberry juice cocktail
A 1-quart 14-ounce can chilled unsweetened pineapple juice
2 cups chilled ginger ale
2 cups chilled seltzer water
Garnish: fresh pineapple spears, if desired

Steps:

  • In a large punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice cocktail, the pineapple juice, the ginger ale, and the seltzer water, add an ice block, and serve the punch in punch glasses, garnished with the pineapple.

7 cups store-bought white cranberry juice
4 cups store-bought pineapple juice
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
4 cups ginger ale
1/4 mango, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced into half moons, for garnish
1/4 papaya, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced into half moons, for garnish
Ice cubes, for serving

Steps:

  • In a large serving pitcher, stir together juices and ginger ale; garnish by floating mango and papaya slices on surface. Serve poured over ice.
