SALMON DIP

Paula Deen's Silly Salt
black pepper
3 oz chunked salmon fish
1 tablespoon fresh diced onions
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Combine Mayonnaise, parsley and onion. Fold salmon in with spatula. Add black pepper and Silly Salt to taste.

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 lbs salmon fillets
house seasoning (if you want to store on your own ( 1 cup salt, 1/4 c black pepper, and 1/4 c garlic powder. Mix well)
2 lemons, juice of
1 medium orange, sectioned and seeded
1 medium onion, sliced thin
1 small red bell pepper, julienned
1 small green bell pepper, julienned
1 pint strawberry, cleaned and sliced
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup fresh dill (chopped) or 1/2 cup fresh chervil (chopped)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 bunch chives, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Place salmon fillet on a foil-lined pan.
  • Season with House Seasoning and lemon juice, then cover and surround fish with orange, onion, and red and green bell pepper.
  • Mix strawberries, water, honey, chervil or dill, garlic, and chives together.
  • Pour evenly over salmon.
  • Cover with foil and pierce foil, allowing salmon to steam.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Serve with rice.

Savory Salmon image

A savory baked salmon dish with strawberries.

1 (2 lb) salmon fillet
Paula Deen's House Seasoning
1 small julienne red bell pepper
1 small julienne green bell pepper
1 medium sliced thin onion
1 medium sectioned and seeded orange
1 pint cleaned and sliced strawberries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup chopped, or baby dill fresh chervil
4 cloves minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 juiced lemons

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
  • Place salmon fillet on a foil-lined pan. Season with House Seasoning, then cover and surround fish with red and green bell pepper, onion and sectioned orange slices. Mix strawberries, water, honey, chervil or dill, garlic and green onions together. Pour lemon juice over salmon. Ladle strawberry mixture evenly over salmon. Cover with foil and pierce foil, allowing steam to escape. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with rice.

Delicious, Savory Salmon image

This is the easiest salmon you'll ever make. The mayo binds the flavors to the fish and creates a very flavorful crust. Light mayo works just fine for this.

1 lb salmon fillet
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 tablespoon seasoning salt (I like Morton's Nature's Seasoning)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
fresh pepper

Steps:

  • Turn on broiler.
  • On a baking sheet, place salmon skin-down.
  • Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the salmon.
  • Spread lemon juice and seasoning over the salmon fillet. There's no need to be exact on these measurements.
  • Broil for about 10 minutes, until the salmon is done.
