11 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon minced garlic
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Assorted fresh vegetables and/or crackers

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Shape into a ball. Roll in walnuts if desired. Wrap tightly; chill 2 hours. Serve with vegetables and/or crackers.

2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2/3 cup finely chopped nuts
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
Coarsely chopped nuts

Steps:

  • Stir together all ingredients except coarsely chopped nuts until well blended. Shape into ball; roll in coarsely chopped nuts.
  • Wrap cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 8 hours but no longer than 48 hours. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving.

I made this to take to church and everyone loved it. I served it with carrots/celery and wheat crackers. Very simple to make. I found this recipe in Simple & Delicious magazine. Cooking time is chilling time.

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise

105 g glutinous-rice flour
25 g tapioca starch
40 g grated parmesan cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
30 g melted butter
75 ml milk
15 mozzarella cheese cubes

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients rice flour, tapioca starch and cheese powder till well blended.
  • Add in egg, butter and enough milk to form a dough. Dough could be just a little sticky.
  • Divide dough into 15 pieces and wrap a mozzarella cheese cube into each piece. You can brush the cheeseballs with some melted butter before baking.
  • Bake at 190C - 200C for 15 - 20 minutes.
