Refrigerated biscuit dough is cut into bite sized pieces, coated in butter, garlic and Parmesan cheese, and baked to golden brown perfection in this easy to make bread that's perfect for a crowd.

1/2 cup butter, divided
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 (16.3 oz.) cans Grands refrigerated biscuits
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a large sheet pan.
  • In a microwave save bowl or glass measuring cup, melt 1/4 cup of the butter. Stir in garlic, garlic salt, Italian seasoning and pepper.
  • Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and arrange biscuit pieces in prepared pan, about 1/4 inch apart. Brush biscuits with butter mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Melt remaining butter and brush over warm bread, if desired. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.

1 stick unsalted butter, plus more for the baking dish
6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
2 large onions, chopped
1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced (white and green parts separated)
Kosher salt
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
2 large eggs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
Coarsely ground black pepper
1 stale 2-pound loaf crusty white bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 16 cups)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Butter a shallow 3-quart baking dish. Cook the bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring, until crisp, about 5 minutes. Add 6 tablespoons butter, the onions, scallion whites and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring, until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the rosemary. Add the chicken broth and 1 teaspoon salt; bring to a simmer, then remove from the heat.
  • Whisk the eggs in a large bowl. Whisk in the Parmesan, parsley and 1 tablespoon pepper. Stir in all but 2 tablespoons scallion greens. Stir in the bread cubes and bacon mixture.
  • Transfer the stuffing to the prepared dish. Dot with the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until browned, 20 to 30 more minutes. Top with the reserved scallion greens.

2 slices whole meal bread or 2 slices sourdough bread
250 g bacon, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 180degrees Celsius.
  • In a hot pan pan fry the bacon until crisp then lay on some Paper towels. Put the bacon on some new paper towels after it has cooled a bit.
  • Make breadcrumbs with the bread slices in the food processor and place on baking tray with baking paper on it.
  • Mix the breadcrumbs and the Parmesan together along with the black pepper.
  • When the bacon is cool mix it in with the breadcrumbs.
  • Place the tray in in the oven and cook for 10 minutes, tossing it every 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Store in an airtight container.

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough, thawed
Marinara sauce, warmed, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients., Divide dough into 24 pieces. Dip each piece in onion mixture; place in a 10-in. fluted tube pan coated with cooking spray. Cover; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. , Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. If desired, serve with marinara sauce.
