OREO COOKIES AND CREAM CUPCAKES

Oreo Cookies and Cream Cupcakes image

These little delights are so yummy and easy to make! (A real hit with cookie lovers of course.) I found this beaut on a cupcake blog some time ago, though I can't quite remember the site. I modified it slightly and totally recommend using a Betty Crocker's Super Moist cake mix. Try using chocolate cake mix and mint Oreos or special edition Oreos for a seasonal twist!

Time 35m

Yield 22-24 cupcakes, 24 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (20 ounce) package Oreo cookies
1 (18 1/4 ounce) betty crocker vanilla cake mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F Line 24 cupcake cups with paper liners. Set pans aside.
  • Use 12 Oreos and split them in twos, place cookie halves in the bottom of each paper liner, cream side up. Toss the extra Oreos in a closed zipper-lock bag and crush them by easing a rolling pin over the bag. Set these aside.
  • Blend sour cream, oil, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and fold in cake mix. Use box directions for blending tips. Then measure out 1 1/2 cups of the crushed Oreos and fold these into the batter until well distributed. Set aside the remaining crushed Oreos for the frosting and or garnish. Spoon or scoop batter until each paper liner is 3/4 full. Place the pans in the oven.

  • **Keep well sealed at room temp(lasts about 3 days) or refrigerate (up to a week), to your liking.

OREO COOKIES AND CREAM DESSERT

Oreo Cookies and Cream Dessert image

I got this recipe from a friend years ago and it's a MUST at Youth Group events or our church picnics. You can also try vanilla oreos with a chocolate pudding, or use the original cream mix and layer it with fresh berries instead for a lighter version. Use sugar-free pudding and topping and fruit and you have something diabetics...

Provided by Angie Merchant

Categories     Desserts

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 box instant vanilla pudding mix--6 serving size
16 oz whipped cream cheese
3 c milk (whole for richest flavor)
12 oz cool whip (large container)
2 pkg oreo cookies (plain, not extra cream)
1/2 c butter, melted (1 stick)
8 oz cool whip (optional!)

Steps:

  • 1. put cream cheese in the bowl of an electric mixer. Gradually add 1 cup of the milk until smooth, then add the pudding mix and the remaining milk. Beat until smooth. Stir in large container of Cool Whip.
  • 2. Place 1 and 1/2 package of Oreo cookies in a gallon zip lock bag, remove most air and seal. With a rolling pin gently tap the cookies until they are crushed into chunky pieces (a cookie is split into 4-5 pieces, for example). Put into a bowl, add the butter and toss until well-coated.
  • 3. Starting with the cookie mix, build layers of cookies and cream, ending with cream. This looks great if done in a glass or clear bowl.
  • 4. If desired, top with another 8 oz container of Cool Whip and decorate with the remaining half package of whole Oreos, if they're not already eaten!
  • 5. THIS DESSERT IS MUCH BETTER WHEN REFRIGERATED FOR 10-12 HOURS BEFORE SERVING.

Categories     Other Snacks

Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 c butter, softened
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c sugar
1 pkg cookies and cream pudding mix (4.2 ounces)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 c flour
15 Oreo cookies
12 oz vanilla or white chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2. Toss butter in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  • 3. Add sugars and mix until smooth and creamy. Add pudding, eggs, and mix well. Add vanilla and mix for about another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 4. In another bowl, place all the dry ingredients and whisk to mix. Then add this to the creamed mixture.
  • 5. Take the Oreo's and put them in a Ziploc bag and roll with a rolling pin just enough to crush them a little bit. Add them and the chip to your cookie mixture and just blend them in.
  • 6. Drop by spoonfuls (about a tablespoon) on a sprayed cookie sheet and bake until the cookies have barely a touch of brown color to them. Enjoy with a cold glass of milk.
  • 7. I placed walnuts in the last part of the batter and had about 8 or 10 cookies with walnuts.

OREO CREAM CHEESE COOKIES

OREO CREAM CHEESE COOKIES image

Categories     Dessert     Bake     Quick & Easy

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
6 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup mini dark chocolate chips
2 cups Oreo crumbles

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375, line a cookie sheet with parchment. I have found that parchment keeps the cookies from spreading too much, as they tend to do on a greased pan or a silpat. In the bowl of a stand mixer on medium speed, cream together butter and cream cheese until thoroughly combined. Add sugar and vanilla, mix well. Add flour one cup at a time and mix on low just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips with a rubber spatula. Pour Oreo crumbles into a bowl. Scoop dough out and roll into roughly 1.5" balls, then roll in cookie crumbles, coating thoroughly. Be sure to cover the dough balls really well in crumbs, as this is what holds the cookie together while baking. Space cookies about 1-2" apart on sheet. Bake on center rack about 14-15 minutes and allow to cool on sheet several minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

OREO POUND CAKE OR COOKIES N CREAM POUND CAKE OR THE CAKE THAT I

Oreo Pound Cake or Cookies N Cream Pound Cake or the Cake That I image

I was making a pound cake for a gift for a friend when I came up with this one. It is so good. The person who received it told me that I am going straight to hell for making this (she ate the WHOLE THING IN ONE DAY!) so I guess I will be seeing my mother in law in my hereafter! LOL! It has a nice texture and flavor, it is messy to finish, but the end result is worth it. You really do not NEED to do the icing, but it adds a nice finish. (It will also fill in the chunks you pick off!)

  • Gradually add flour and salt.
  • Add eggs one at a time.

OREO COOKIES AND CREAM NO-BAKE CHEESECAKE RECIPE - (4.3/5)

Oreo Cookies and Cream No-Bake Cheesecake Recipe - (4.3/5) image

Provided by remystarr

Number Of Ingredients 12

CRUST:
1 1/2 cups crushed graham cracker
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
CHEESECAKE:
2 1/4 cups heavy cream
1 pound cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons vanilla powder
3/4 cup Oreo cookies, crushed

Steps:

  • CRUST: Combine graham cracker crumbs with sugar. Add melted butter and blend until combined. Press into desired pan (a 9-inch springform or regular muffin tins work fine). Set aside. CHEESECAKE: Beat heavy cream until medium peaks form. Set aside. Add cream cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla powder, lemon juice to a bowl and beat with a paddle attachment until smooth (approximately 3 to 5 minutes). If you do not have a stand mixer or a paddle attachment a hand beater will work as well, but will take twice as long to achieve a smooth consistency. Add cream cheese mixture to heavy cream and beat until incorporated. Gently fold in Oreo cookies. Fill chosen pan with a slight mound at the center, as the cheesecake will become slightly sunken at the center. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours to set or overnight for best results. Remove from refrigerator and smooth top to level with edges. Serve with whipping cream and garnish with mini Oreos. Cook's Notes: I made these as Mini Oreo Cookies and Cream Cheesecake, but the recipe will work just as well in a 9 inch cheesecake pan or springform. If you do not have vanilla powder you can omit it. I don't recommend vanilla extract or it will end up coloring your cheesecake with a slight brownish color. For best results refrigerate overnight. Keep refrigerated up until 20 minutes before serving.
