ONE-POT PASTA WONDER
A delicious sausage and pasta dish with a little bit of spice (ZING!) all made in one pot.

Steps:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausages and brown on all sides, 3 to 5 minutes. Add garlic; saute for a few seconds, until fragrant, but not burned. Add wine and cook, covered, until wine has reduced, 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add diced tomatoes, chicken stock, and cayenne powder. Stir well, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in uncooked pasta until well combined, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add mushrooms, parsley, and basil. Cook, covered, until pasta is tender yet firm to the bite, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving dish, and toss with Romano cheese. Serve immediately.

- Place all ingredients except cilantro and lime juice and garnishes in a large stockpot. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a low simmer and keep covered and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or so. Cook until pasta is al dente and almost all liquid has evaporated - I left about an inch of liquid in the bottom of the pot - but you can reduce as desired . Season to taste with salt and pepper , stirring pasta several times to distribute the liquid in the bottom of the pot. Remove slices of ginger and stir in cilantro and lime juice. Dish up the pasta and then sprinkle on garnishes as desired.

- Place pasta, tomatoes, onion, and garlic in a large stock pot. Pour in vegetable broth. Sprinkle on top the pepper flakes and oregano. Drizzle top with oil. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a low simmer and keep covered and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or so. Cook until almost all liquid has evaporated - I left about an inch of liquid in the bottom of the pot - but you can reduce as desired . Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add basil leaves and stir pasta several times to distribute the liquid in the bottom of the pot evenly throughout the pasta as you are serving. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.

Reduce to a low simmer and keep covered and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or so. cook until pasta is al dente and almost all liquid has evaporated. Stir in basil, lime juice, remaining lime peel, and Napa cabbage. We have successfully tried this recipe with diced cooked chicken added during the last two minutes of cooking.
