Here's what you need: ground beef, large onion, bell pepper, garlic, olive oil, veggie broth, tomato sauce, crushed tomato, fresh basil, crushed red pepper, bay leaves, salt and pepper, elbow macaroni

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 lb ground beef
1 large onion
1 bell pepper
6 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ cups veggie broth
1 can tomato sauce
1 can crushed tomato
¼ teaspoon fresh basil
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
3 bay leaves
salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup elbow macaroni

Steps:

  • In a large pan, saute ground beef, garlic, onions, bell pepper in olive oil until browned. Drain.
  • Add broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, seasoning, bay leaves, and mix well.
  • Lower heat and cover. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add in the uncooked elbow macaroni to the skillet. Stir well until everything is combined.
  • Cover once again and simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve warm.

2 pounds ground beef or turkey
3 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup beef broth
1/3 cup olive oil
2 (15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 (15-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon Adobo seasoning
3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • In a large pan, saute your ground meat in skillet over medium-high heat until HALF cooked, remove from heat. Add garlic, onions, olive oil & until meat is fully cooked. Add water and broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, and seasoned salt, pepper and adobo seasoning. Mix well. Lower heat and cover - allow to cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in the uncooked elbow macaroni to the skillet, stir well until everything is combined. Cover once again and allow to simmer for about 30 minutes. Add only the cheddar cheese and mix until combined. Add mozzarella right before serving.

This Recipe my mom used to make to take to Basketball Banquets back when she coached. I still make it today and it's good!

2 lbs ground beef
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (26 1/2 ounce) manwich original sloppy joe sandwich sauce
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes

Steps:

  • In a large non stick skillet, add ground beef and onion, brown until beef is no longer pink and juices run clear. Pour off any fat.
  • Add Manwich to ground beef mixture until throughly incorporated and mixture is warm.
  • In a Medium saucepan, boil elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain macaroni. Add cooked macaroni to ground beef and manwich mixture until well combined.
  • Add can of diced tomatoes to the ground beef mixture and mix throughly.
  • Transfer to a casserole or baking dish- Put in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve with a green salad if desired.

1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 can(s) tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced
1 yellow onions
1 box rotini pasta
1 can(s) corn
chili powder

Steps:

  • 1. Brown burger and onion in skillet. When cooked place all other ingredients in pan and add enough water to cook the noodles in. Use chili powder to your taste preference. Simmer with a lid on till noodles are cooked through.
