- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spoon into pie shell.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.

I was not crazy about chocolate pie until my mother's friend made one for our family. It was so delicious that my brother and I argued over the last piece.

Steps:
- 1. Add together the sugar, cornstarch, and Nestle Quik.
- 2. Stir in one and half cups of milk.
- 3. Beat the egg yolks together and stir in the other half cup of milk.
- 4. Add to sugar mixture.
- 5. Cook until thickened in a double boiler; stirring constantly.
- 6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and margarine. Cool slightly. Pour into baked pie crust.
- 7. Beat egg whites with 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar until stiff.
- 8. Add 3 tablespoons sugar, a little at a time, while continuing to beat the egg whites.
- 9. Spread the meringue over the pie filling and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until brown.
