Pork Chop Casserole is an incredibly easy dinner that the whole family will enjoy. Tender pork chops smothered in a creamy seasoned sauce and topped with crispy French's fried onions--serve with rice, noodles, potatoes, or vegetables for a well-rounded meal.

6 boneless pork chops (medium thickness)
1 10 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 6 ounce container French's French fried onions

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper, then place in an even layer in a glass baking dish.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, thyme, parsley, garlic powder, and salt. Add 1 cup of the fried onions, reserving the remaining onions for topping the casserole.
  • Spread the creamy onion mixture over top of the pork chops and then sprinkle the remaining fried onions over the top.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350F degrees. Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Cool slightly before serving.

2-1/4 cups uncooked instant rice
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2-2/3 cups milk
4 bone-in pork loin chops (1/2 inch thick)
1 envelope onion soup mix

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the rice, soups and milk. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Arrange pork chops over rice. Sprinkle with soup mix. Cover and bake at 350° for 50-55 minutes or until meat juices run clear and rice is tender.

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 (10.75 ounce) can water
1 cup mushrooms, diced
4 pork chops
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the mushroom soup, onion soup mix, water and mushrooms.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the pork chops on each side. Transfer chops to a 9x9 inch baking dish, and cover with the mushroom soup mixture.

Another family favorite, I thought I'd share...Delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 13

oil for frying chops and vegetables - i used some bacon grease
6 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick - pork chops, center cut or could use boneless, the bone in have more flavor
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 each - red & green pepper, chopped
1 med onion, chopped
1 - 10.5 oz each - can cream of chicken and cream of celery soup
1 - 32 oz bag cubed hash browns - thawed
2/3 c sour cream
1/2 c each - milk & heavy cream
3/4 tsp each - salt & pepper
season salt, garlic powder & pepper
1 1/2 c shredded, cheddar cheese - divided
1 c french fried onions

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to350 degree F. Rinse pork chops and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle both sides with season salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • 2. Brown chops on both sides in bacon grease if you have any on hand - if not use whatever oil is available. Set aside.
  • 3. In a skillet with about 1 1/2 tablespoons bacon fat, saute onion, peppers and garlic until tender. Set aside.
  • 4. In a large bowl, add potatoes, celery soup, chicken soup, 3/4 tsp salt, 3/4 tsp pepper, pepper mixture, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk and cream. Stir until well combined.
  • 5. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Spread potato mixture, evenly into the prepared dish.
  • 6. Place browned chops atop the potatoes.
  • 7. Cover dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes or until chops are done.
  • 8. Remove foil and sprinkle the top of chops with french fried onions and remaining cheese. Place back into the oven for another 5 - 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and onions begin to brown. Season to taste and serve immediately.
