MAMA STAMBERG'S CRANBERRY RELISH RECIPE
My brother made this for Thanksgiving, and it is a delicious unique combination. Delicious on leftover turkey or roastbeef sandwiches. The recipe is recited evey year on NPR by Susan Stamberg at Thanksgiving.

Steps:
- Grind the cranberries and onion together.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix.
- Put in a plastic container and freeze.
- An hour before serving, move the container from the freezer to the refrigerator compartment to thaw.
- The relish will be thick, creamy, and shocking pink.

CRANBERRY RELISH
Today I have my mom's 10 minute recipe for fresh Raw Cranberry Relish for Thanksgiving. It is made with raw cranberries, whole orange that has been ground in the food processor, then mixed with raspberry jam and sugar. It can be made up to 5 days ahead!

Steps:
- Remove any seeds from orange (if there are any) and place in food processor fitted with steel blade attachment. Process until chopped into pieces no larger than a pea. Add cranberries and pulse until the cranberries are finely chopped.
- Whisk raspberry jam in a medium bowl to loosen. Add cranberry mixture and sugar and stir thoroughly until the jam is incorporated and the sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until serving.

This is a tart and tangy cranberry side dish, perfect for any holiday meal! My grandmother's recipe that my mom still makes as a family tradition.

Steps:
- Wash and drain cranberries.
- Cut whole orange into quarters.
- Chop in food processor until pieces are minced. You may need to do this in portions depending on the size of your food processor.
- Pour into a bowl and mix in sugar.
- Allow to rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Serve with turkey, ham, or your favorite holiday meal.
