MONTEREY JACK STUFFED MEXICAN HAMBURGERS WITH GUACAMOLE TOPPING
I loved the flavors in this recipe. The cumin really made this burger special. Plus, I hardly ever meet a guac that I didn't like!

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl mix together chopped turkey, chopped meat, cumin, chili pwdr, chopped fine chipotle pepper, salt, blk pepper.
- 2. Divide mixture into 4 sections...n grab one n place chunk of cheese in middle n cover with meat then form into patty.
- 3. Repeat with remaining meat mixture until all 4 are formed. Now place on hot bbq 5 min. Per side.
- 4. While burgers r grilln...lets make guac! In med bowl put scooped out avacados, add chopped onion, chopped cilantro, chopped tomato, cayenne pepper, salt, lime juice n mash together (i like my guac chunky so i only smash slightly)
- 5. Last step place hamburger on bun n top with guacamole n......enjoy :)
MONTEREY JACK BURGERS
Ground beef is mixed together with shredded Monterey Jack cheese, chopped onion and seasonings, grilled on the barbecue grill and served on a toasted sesame seed bun. Add toppings of your choice. Moist and delicious!

Steps:
- Combine shredded cheese, pepper sauce, ground beef, chopped onion, and salt and pepper.
- Mix well, let stand for about 10 minutes and then shape into 8 burgers.
- Grill for about 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
- Brush inside of buns with butter and place cut side down on grill to brown very lightly.
- Serve burgers on warm buns with your favorite toppings.

After my brothers' football games when we were kids, we would all descend on a local restaurant for their wonderful Southwestern stuffed soapaipillas. This recipe takes me back to that delicious childhood memory. Even my Canadian husband raves about these! -Lara Pennell Irving, Texas

- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in water milk and oil with a fork until a ball forms. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently for 2-3 minutes. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Divide into four portions; roll each into a 6-1/2-in. circle. , In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry circles, one at a time, for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels., In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the salt, garlic powder and pepper. In a large saucepan, combine the soup, broth, chilies and onion powder; cook for 10 minutes or until heated through. , Cut a slit on one side of each sopaipilla; fill with 1/2 cup of meat mixture. Top with cheese. Serve with sauce.
