- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gradually beat in eggs. Beat in the milk, butter, salt, cayenne and pepper until blended. Stir in the remaining ingredients., Pour into a greased 3-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If desired, top with additional pepper and green onions.

- In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk and oil. Add to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Stir in jalapenos. Pour into a greased 9-in. square baking pan., Bake at 400° for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut into squares or wedges. Serve warm.

- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease an 8x8 square pan. (Oster Oven: 350 degrees for 18.5 minutes)
- 2. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add egg, milk, and oil until just blended.
- 3. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Do not over bake. Oster instructions above.
SUPER MOIST CORN BREAD WITH MAPLE BUTTER
Goes great with chili or hearty soups. The maple butter compliments the corn bread, so it's almost like a dessert.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350, spray 8 inch square pan with cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl combine corn meal, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Stir to combine completely.
- 2. Add creamed corn, sour cream, eggs and oil. Mix until completely mixed. Pour into prepared pan.
- 3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center come out clean, and lightly browned on top. Let cool at least 20 minutes before serving. Serve warm with maple butter if desired.
- 4. To make maple butter: cream together 1 stick of soften butter (1/2 cup), 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and 2 to 3 tablespoons of pure maple syrup.
