- In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Set aside to drain and cool to room temperature.
- Spread the beans into the bottom of a 9x13 inch serving tray that is about 1 1/2 inches deep. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese on top of beans. Sprinkle beef on top of cheese. Spread sour cream very slowly on top of beef. Spread guacamole on top of sour cream. Pour salsa over guacamole and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese. - Brown hamburger with chopped onion.
- Drain.
- Add taco seasoning.
- Layer refried beans at bottom of oblong pan followed by browned hamburger mix.
- Next mix the three jars of salsa and pour over hamburger.
- Spread on top of that the shredded cheese, and then the sour cream.
- Chop the lettuce fine and sprinkle on top of the sour cream leaving a large hole in the middle. The chopped tomatoes go inside the hole, still leaving room for the chopped green onions.
- Serve with the Tostitos chips.

- Chop lettuce and toss in a large bowl with grated cabbage and carrots.
- Spread mixture into the bottom of a deep glass salad bowl.
- Peel and slice avocado and toss with lemon juice.
- This prevents avocado from turning brown.
- Evenly cover the lettuce with a layer of tomato, followed by a layer of avocado, a layer of green onion, a layer of beans and a layer of chips.
